It begins

Oh… my.. glob… I weigh 187.6lbs.  I swear a few years ago I was 165-170.  I remember in my 20s being 155!  I’m sure it’s all muscle, right?  (not)

So my weight loss goal for the challenge is -4% body fat.  Honestly, I don’t really know what that means.  I just know their scale said my current body fat is 20.8.  I ordered a scale (RENPHO Bluetooth Body Fat Scale) since, being the geek I am, I want to see a graph that shows daily progress. I’m curious to see what patterns in that data emerge.

My only weight loss objective is to lose the dad bod and maintain a healthy physique and practice going forward.  Sure, I’d like to go further and wow people when shirtless, but I am not prone to showing skin and I generally try to avoid goals dependent upon reactions and opinions of others. I do this for me.
