I hate photos of me even when they are decent! In this case, since I wanted to be clear, I used a shirt I would not normally wear – for obvious reasons! I also have photos shirtless, but I am not ready to post that!
I’m compelled to say how I was not this bad 2 years ago and that during the process of being phased out of my old job, and then 9 months of unemployment, made me more sedentary and gym/dojo visits slowly waned until they stopped completely in June 2018. I wish I had “before” photos from then too so I can see how much I changed during that dark time. I will say that normally I look thinner since I suck it in. For the photos, I relaxed naturally to let it out so I can get a real comparison to my eventual after shots.
I’m also reminded of how, back in 2012, I was going to the gym 3 times a week and dojo twice a week and had been eating healthier. I sometimes got compliments from friends who had not seen me in a while. How far I have fallen! Even my posture has taken a dive!
Ah well. Here I am getting up and dusting myself off to start this challenge! I am very curious to see the after pics in 6 weeks! Maybe a follow up in 6 months?
