I’m pretty sure progress will steady off mid-way through this challenge, but I do want to acknowledge some early progress…
No Double DOMS
I was a little worried going into the second class on Wednesday with some muscle soreness from the Monday workout would mean double the soreness for the rest of the week. Yesterday was pretty much same level of soreness/stiffness from Wednesday, and today I feel just a little tight, but I would not label it as soreness. This was the first day this week I walked off the train (over an hour sitting) and could walk my usual fast New Yorker pace without needing to walk off the stiffness first. Nice. Now let’s see how the weekend is after tonight’s class!
I Lost Some Weight
Down 3 lbs with almost -1% body fat, per my home scale. I will use the gym scale again on Monday.
I Need a Belt
One of the signs I needed this challenge was that I no longer needed a belt to keep my pants in the right spot. In fact, a belt felt too tight. Yesterday I was wishing I had a belt since my pants were riding lower than I prefer. Today, with the belt, my pants feel just right.
I Have More Energy
This has been a rough week at work and I am at the top of my game. Definitely taking the stress in stride more than usual.
