I have never been on a strict diet before. Normally I just start substituting less healthy options for healthy and make more mindful decisions. As a snacker, the protein shakes have helped me between meals during the week, but on weekends… oh that was more of a challenge. Perhaps it’s because I am a habitual snacker at home, and on weekends I make rather nice cheese plates and other such noms. Perhaps also since my weekends are less structured and I am left to my own to cause trouble.
Also today I am hungry still, and I just had my protein drink a little early. Hopefully, it is just due to my choice for breakfast which was tasty (cottage cheese, frozen berries, and some vanilla protein powder) but not as filling as when I make something with egg whites.
I miss my snacks.
