Well I officially started the ketogenic diet. I have stocked up on needed essentials and now it is just a matter of fully committing so I can see how it feels for me, I did not feel much of a change so far during my transition, although I have been feeling a bit more ready for bed at bed time. Hard to tell if related, placebo, or what.
Few supplements I started:
- Probiotic (just planning the one bottle) to help my gut adjust to the change
- Vitamin D3 since that is harder to get just from diet.
- Krill Oil for the Omega 3s and to be sure I get enough healthy fats.
- CoQ10 helps with energy processing and good for heart. Probably overkill.
I had not been weighing myself so I should probably record a reading now: 178.6 lb
