My poop weighs a pound

Posted on February 16, 2022February 17, 2022 by John

Been really busy with work but kept to some semblance of my daily workouts, with less walking than usual. outside of the last two days.  Pretty sure the stress and a bit of decadent (but still keto) eating over weekend not helping with progress.

Feeling stronger thanks to the workouts. Definite improvement in form with the GMB elements redo.

I had weighed myself a few times:

2/8: 164.0 lbs

2/10: 163.4

2/13: 165.0 (poop) 164.0… GASP

Well, I asked siri what the typical poop weighed and she said 0.25 to 1 lbs.  I have not been as regular since I started keto so often I go every other day now so I guess this makes sense.

But this reminds me that if I want to follow weigh more accurately I should keep to a specific time since meals, bathroom habits, etc. will cause variability throughout the day.

Anyway, still not fixating on weight itself but do note I seem to have stalled around 163/164 lbs.  Part may be stress, and recent snacking. Also much less walking the last two weeks.  So I need to get out more and watch snacks,

Also, with the strength training now, that may mask weight loss to some extent since muscle weighs more than fat. As long as I stay below 165lbs I am happy for now.  Physically I see some areas that can still lose fat but that will come in time.
